Compagnie de l’Etoile des Mers is strengthening its stake in Havas NV, and will appoint Yannick Bolloré as its Chairman, in addition to his position at the head of Havas NV.

In addition to the 30.4% stake held by Bolloré SE in Havas since its listing on Euronext Amsterdam in December 2024, Compagnie de l’Etoile des Mers, controlled by Bolloré Participations, has acquired over the past months close to 19% of Havas NV.

Yannick Bolloré, Chairman and CEO of Havas NV, who had acquired, in the weeks following Havas NV’s listing, 2.9% of the share capital through the company YB6, will transfer YB6 to Compagnie de l’Etoile des Mers, in order to group together their shareholdings in Havas NV. Upon completion of the transaction, Compagnie de l’Etoile des Mers will hold approximately 22% of the share capital of Havas NV and Yannick Bolloré will be appointed Chairman of Compagnie de l’Etoile des Mers.
